Good Afternoon Everyone,
This has nothing to do with knitting or crochet really, but in a way it does. About 3 years ago, my daughter gave me a robot vacuum for a gift. I thought it was just another toy, because my children never know what to get me for Christmas or birthdays. Well I was wrong, I love this thing. I have thanked my daughter over and over again, because what she gave me was the gift of time. I set my little robot going, and as it vacuums my room, I sit and crochet or knit or do whatever else needs doing.
This Christmas she gave me the floor washing robot. No, I do not work for the company, or represent it in any way, or even know any one who works for the company, but I have to tell you I love this thing too. As I finished my jacket this morning, my little robot was busy washing my kitchen floor. Now as I am working on my blog, trying to post my new pictures, etc, it is busy doing the bathroom floor. I have to admit, it took me some doing to get it to work, but after a few phone calls, my daughter had me all set. Thanks Sharon, you could not have given me a more wonderful gift.
Back to my jacket. I finished it this morning, buttons sewn on all ends tucked in, ready to wear. I should mention something here about "ends" when doing free form. Making so many different pieces does generate a lot of ends. I try to stop every so often and tuck in the ends. If you save this job till you are all done, it becomes overwhelming. Much easier to do it a little at a time.
I really completed this jacket in record time, less than 2 weeks. I started it Jan 29th. I did not have any previous scrumbles made, did not even have an idea, until the night that I started it. Once started, I could not put it down. Like the Energizer Bunny, I just kept going and going. I was having so much fun watching the garden bloom and come to life. It definitely did bring a bright spot to the dreary, cold winter days.
Hope to see some of you in MN next week.
Have a great weekend.
Margaret

Hi Margaret,
This jacket is really wonderful! Would you mind if I link to your slideshow and blog entry from my own blog?
