HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE,
I have some exciting News to share. It was announced last night on Getting
Loopy, that I have won the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, and
THE BEST FREE FORM CROCHET DESIGNER 2008 AWARD. The awards
were presented by the CLF Group on Ravelry. The program had some
technical problems, so the last 8 speakers never got on, but Mary Beth
Temple has re-scheduled us for March 30th

Thanks so much to all who voted, it was very exciting to be nominated,
because the list of nominees was mind boggling, but to win is truly a high.
The CLF is devoted to promoting the art of crochet, and its founder,
Laurie Wheeler, works tirelessly to get the word out.

Congrats Margaret ..it was my pleasure ...you are very talented. I only hope that someday I can call myself an experienced crocheter....I have been crocheting for 3 years and I am just getting brave enough to crochet a poncho....it mostly been afghan, scarfs and mittens.
